ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Wendy Bradley was born and raised in Banff, Alberta, where she feels at home in the Canadian Rockies. Bradley has been a professional artist for over 20 years and her work has been exhibited both locally and internationally. Whether it be painting in-the-moment 'en plein air' or with more precise brushwork in her studio with layers of glazes, her images vividly depict her connection with landscapes and the people she encounters.

Bradley's passion is for watercolour and oils. She pursues this technique by capturing glaciers, lakes and mountain hillsides, forests and meadows, all onto her canvas. She finds her visions in Bow Valley, Waterton National Park, Bow Lake, the Queen Charlottes, Northern BC and the Yukon. Her images remind her viewers of a time they once spent - either visiting the mountains in Waterton or for a morning stroll around the lake. Bradley's work creates lasting memories for all to cherish.

Four generations of Bradley's family has lived in the majestic landscape of Banff, and it is there that she continues to put her paintbrush to work. There it is where she finds inspiration, while painting the pristine wilderness, the mountain and it's culture. Her journeys continue to lead her into new vistas and horizons to explore.
