Martha Henry studied glass-blowing at Sheridan College School of Design,
Ontario and sculpture at the Alberta College of Art, where she taught
glassblowing. She was one of the first hot glass artists to be working in
Western Canada. Starting her first studio in 1979, Martha has established her
reputation as one of Canada’s leading glass artists and continues to work
from her studio in Calgary, Alberta. Her distinctive works have been
commissioned for Culinary Team Canada, Princess Diana, the Rolling Stones
nad are in numerous collections around the world. Each piece is signed by the
artist.
